and other applicable laws.

law.

* Speaker repair

* Camera repair

* Back-glass and back-cover replacement

* Frame/housing replacement

The exact scope of a repair depends on the customer’s device, reported fault, selected

replacement part and agreed work.

4. AppointmentsCustomers may book an appointment through the Reilu PhoneFix booking system.

Reilu PhoneFix uses Reservio for appointment management.

Booking page:

When making a booking, the customer may provide:

* Name

* Telephone number

* Email address

* Device information

* Selected service

* Requested appointment time

* Additional information about the fault

An appointment does not automatically include additional work or replacement parts that were

not included in the selected service.

If additional work is identified during inspection, Reilu PhoneFix will inform the customer before

carrying out the additional work whenever reasonably possible.

5. Pricing

Reilu PhoneFix aims to provide customers with clear pricing before work begins.

The price may be presented as:

* A fixed price

* A price estimate

* An indicative price

* A maximum price

* A diagnostic/inspection fee

The customer will be informed about what the quoted price includes.

Depending on the service, the price may include:

* Replacement part

* Labour

* Diagnostics

* Installation

* Testing

unless otherwise stated.

5.1 Fixed price

If a fixed price has been expressly agreed, Reilu PhoneFix will not charge more than the agreed

price for the agreed work unless the customer approves additional work.

5.2 Price estimate

A price estimate is based on the information available before the repair.If a justified reason arises during the repair that may affect the price, Reilu PhoneFix will inform the

customer as soon as reasonably possible.

A price estimate may only be exceeded within the limits permitted by applicable law. Additional

work will be agreed with the customer separately.

5.3 Indicative price

An indicative price may be based on information provided before the device has been fully

inspected.

If the repair is expected to substantially exceed the indicative price, Reilu PhoneFix will inform the

customer before continuing with the additional work where reasonably possible.

5.4 Maximum price

If a maximum price has been agreed, Reilu PhoneFix will not exceed that price without the

customer’s approval.

6. Diagnostics and Inspection

Not all faults can be reliably identified before a device has been physically inspected.

Reilu PhoneFix may provide a separate diagnostic or inspection service.

Diagnostics may include:

* General device testing

* Software checks

* Battery health testing

* Display and touch testing

* Camera testing

* Microphone and speaker testing

* Charging testing

* Connector inspection

* Liquid or corrosion inspection

* Component testing

If a diagnostic fee applies, the customer will be informed before the diagnostic work begins.

Diagnostics do not always guarantee that every fault or underlying cause can be identified.

Diagnosis €39.90

A diagnostic fee of €39.90 applies if the customer does not proceed with the recommended repair, or if the reported issue is found to be unrelated to the requested repair/service.

The diagnosis includes device testing and fault assessment to determine the cause of the issue and the appropriate repair solution.

If the customer proceeds with the recommended repair, the diagnostic fee is waived and the agreed repair price applies.

7. Additional Work

If an additional fault or additional work is identified during inspection or repair, Reilu PhoneFix will

inform the customer before performing the additional work whenever reasonably possible.

Additional work may be required where:

* The original fault is more extensive than initially reported

* Another fault is discovered

* A previous repair has caused additional damage

* Liquid or corrosion damage is discovered

* An additional component is required

* The originally selected part is incompatible

* Additional technical work is necessaryAdditional work and its price will normally be agreed with the customer before it is performed

unless it was already included in the original agreement.

8. Replacement-Part Quality and Options

Reilu PhoneFix may offer different replacement-part options.

These may include:

Genuine / Original / Service Part

A genuine or service replacement part supplied through the manufacturer’s or an authorised

service-part channel, where such a part is available and offered for the repair.

OEM / OEM-quality

The terms OEM or OEM-quality are used only where reasonably supported by the supplier and

product information.

OEM does not automatically mean that the part is an official genuine replacement part supplied

by the device manufacturer.

Premium Aftermarket

A high-quality compatible replacement part that is not a genuine manufacturer replacement part.

Standard / Compatible Aftermarket

A compatible replacement part that may have different specifications, features or performance

compared with the original part.

Reilu PhoneFix will inform the customer, where reasonably possible, about the type of

replacement part selected before the repair.

Reilu PhoneFix does not represent an aftermarket component as a genuine manufacturer part.

9. Display Characteristics

Different display types may differ in:

* Brightness

* Colour reproduction

* Touch sensitivity

* Power consumption

* Response time

* Black levels

* Viewing angles

* Refresh rate

* Always-On functionality

* ProMotion functionality

* True Tone functionality

* Software messages relating to replacement parts

Not all original device features can necessarily be retained when an aftermarket display is

installed.Where known, Reilu PhoneFix will inform the customer about relevant limitations before the repair.

10. Battery Replacement

Replacement batteries may include:

* Genuine/service-part batteries

* OEM-quality batteries

* Premium aftermarket batteries

* Compatible aftermarket batteries

Battery capacity, cell characteristics, manufacturer information and software-reported battery

information may vary depending on the replacement part.

On some devices, the operating system may display a message indicating that a component has

been replaced or cannot be verified.

Such a message alone does not necessarily mean that the installed replacement part is defective.

11. Manufacturer Software Messages and Restrictions

Some devices may display software notifications concerning replaced, used, unknown or

otherwise unverified components.

For example, iPhones may display information relating to replacement components in Parts &

Service History.

Such notifications may result from the manufacturer’s software and component-verification

system.

Reilu PhoneFix cannot guarantee that a replacement component will be recognised or displayed

by the manufacturer’s software in exactly the same way as the original factory-installed

component.

12. Previously Repaired Devices

Customers should inform Reilu PhoneFix if a device has previously been:

* Opened

* Repaired elsewhere

* Exposed to liquid

* Dropped or physically damaged

* Modified

* Fitted with aftermarket parts

* Repaired using non-standard methods

Previous repairs may affect the success of a new repair.

If screws, shields, brackets, seals or other components are missing or damaged, Reilu PhoneFix

may document and inform the customer where reasonably possible.

⸻13. Liquid and Moisture Damage

Repairing liquid-damaged devices involves a higher degree of uncertainty.

Liquid or moisture may cause:

* Corrosion

* Short circuits

* Hidden component damage

* Motherboard damage

* Battery damage

* Connector damage

* Failures that appear later

Replacing one component may not resolve the underlying liquid damage.

A device may work only partially after repair or develop additional faults later, even if the

replacement component itself is functioning correctly.

Reilu PhoneFix will inform the customer about identified liquid or corrosion damage where

reasonably possible.

14. Customer Data Backup

Customers are responsible for maintaining an appropriate backup of their personal data before

submitting a device for repair.

Customers are encouraged to back up their device using, for example:

* iCloud

* Google services

* A computer

* Another secure backup service

During repair, a device may need to be:

* Restarted

* Updated

* Restored

* Reset

* Disassembled

* Tested using different software modes

In some circumstances, data loss cannot be completely ruled out.

Reilu PhoneFix will take reasonable care to avoid unnecessary data loss, but technically

necessary data loss may occur during certain repairs or procedures.

15. Personal Content on the Device

Reilu PhoneFix does not intentionally access, view, copy or retain personal content such as:

* Photos

* Videos

* Messages

* Contacts* Documents

* Emails

* Social-media content

unless access is necessary for an agreed repair, diagnostic or testing procedure.

Where access is necessary, Reilu PhoneFix aims to limit access to the minimum information

required.

Customers should remove sensitive information and create a backup before repair whenever

possible.

Further information is provided in the Reilu PhoneFix Privacy Policy.

16. Passwords and Passcodes

Customers should not provide passwords, passcodes or account credentials unless they are

genuinely required for an agreed repair or testing procedure.

Where possible, Reilu PhoneFix may offer an alternative testing procedure that does not require

the customer’s passcode.

Reilu PhoneFix does not intentionally retain customer passwords or authentication credentials

after they are no longer required.

17. Face ID, Touch ID and Biometric Functions

Certain biometric functions, including Face ID and Touch ID, may be linked to specific original

components.

The continued operation of biometric features cannot always be guaranteed after repair,

particularly where:

* An original component is damaged

* A component has previously been replaced

* The device has liquid damage

* The motherboard is damaged

* A component associated with the biometric system must be replaced

Reilu PhoneFix will inform the customer about known relevant risks where they can reasonably be

identified before the repair.

18. Device Condition Documentation

Reilu PhoneFix may document the condition of a device before repair, including through

photographs.

Documentation may include:

* Cracks

* Scratches

* Dents

* Frame damage

* Back-glass damage* Camera-lens damage

* Display damage

* Missing components

* Signs of previous repairs

Documentation may be used for repair records, warranty assessment, complaint handling and

verification of the device’s condition before repair.

19. Repair Testing

Reilu PhoneFix aims to test relevant device functions before and after repair where the condition

of the device allows this.

Testing may include:

* Display

* Touchscreen

* Cameras

* Microphones

* Speakers

* Charging

* Wi-Fi

* Bluetooth

* Network connectivity

* Buttons

* Biometric functions

* Battery operation

Not every function can necessarily be tested when a device is completely non-functional or

severely damaged.

20. Estimated Repair Time

Reilu PhoneFix will provide an estimated completion time where reasonably possible.

Repair times may change due to:

* Replacement-part availability

* Supplier or delivery delays

* Additional faults

* Diagnostic requirements

* Extent of damage

* Technical circumstances

Customers will be informed of significant changes whenever reasonably possible.

21. Replacement-Part Availability

If the selected replacement part is unavailable, Reilu PhoneFix may offer an alternative part.

A materially different alternative will normally only be installed with the customer’s approval.If an appropriate replacement part cannot be obtained within a reasonable time, the customer

may discuss available alternatives or cancellation with Reilu PhoneFix in accordance with

applicable law.

22. Warranty and Statutory Consumer Rights

Reilu PhoneFix may provide a separate voluntary warranty for certain repairs or replacement

parts.

The warranty period may vary, for example:

* 3 months

* 4 months

* 6 months

* 12 months

The applicable warranty period will be communicated to the customer before or at the time of the

repair and/or on the receipt.

A voluntary warranty does not limit any statutory consumer rights.

The scope of any warranty and statutory liability depends on the service, replacement part and

circumstances of the case.

23. What the Voluntary Warranty May Cover

Depending on the applicable warranty terms, the warranty may cover:

* Manufacturing or material defects in an installed replacement part

* A technical fault directly related to the repair, where covered by the applicable warranty

The device may need to be inspected by Reilu PhoneFix before a warranty claim can be

assessed.

24. What the Voluntary Warranty Does Not Automatically Cover

The voluntary warranty normally does not cover:

* New physical damage

* Drops

* Cracked screens or glass

* Liquid or moisture damage

* Misuse

* Modification or repair by another party

* New external damage

* Normal wear and tear

* Customer-caused damage

* Faults unrelated to the original repair

This does not limit statutory consumer rights.

25. Warranty ClaimsIf a customer experiences a problem related to a repair during the applicable warranty period, the

customer should contact Reilu PhoneFix as soon as reasonably possible.

The customer should provide, where possible:

* Device model

* Repair date

* Description of the problem

* Repair or receipt number

* Photos or videos where relevant

Reilu PhoneFix will inspect the device and determine whether the issue is related to the repair or

replacement part.

26. Customer-Supplied Replacement Parts

Customers should inform Reilu PhoneFix if they provide their own replacement part.

Reilu PhoneFix may refuse to install a part that appears:

* Defective

* Damaged

* Incompatible

* Unsafe

* Incorrect for the device

Where a customer supplies their own part, Reilu PhoneFix’s responsibility may primarily relate to

the workmanship rather than the quality or reliability of the customer-supplied part.

Any relevant limitations will be explained before work begins.

27. Battery Safety

Batteries are technical components that may present safety risks.

If a battery is:

* Swollen

* Damaged

* Abnormally hot

* Mechanically damaged

* Unstable

Reilu PhoneFix may stop work or refuse to install or handle the component for safety reasons.

For safety reasons, Reilu PhoneFix may recommend replacing the battery or discontinuing use of

the device.

28. Suspension of a Repair

Reilu PhoneFix may suspend or stop a repair if:

* The device presents a safety risk* The battery is dangerously damaged

* Extensive additional damage is discovered

* The required replacement part is unavailable

* The repair is not technically reasonably achievable

* The customer does not approve required additional work

* Continuing the repair would create an unreasonable technical risk

The customer will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.

29. Repair That Cannot Be Completed

If a device cannot be repaired, Reilu PhoneFix will inform the customer.

If the agreed service cannot technically be performed, Reilu PhoneFix will not charge for work that

was not performed.

A previously agreed diagnostic or inspection fee may still apply if the diagnostic service was

performed and the fee was disclosed and agreed in advance.

30. Unsuccessful or Partially Completed Repair

If a customer decides not to continue with a repair after diagnostics, the device will be returned

subject to the condition resulting from the agreed diagnostic or repair work.

If opening or disassembling the device was necessary for diagnosis, the original factory sealing,

water resistance or other factory-installed characteristics may not be restorable to their previous

condition.

31. Water Resistance

Even if a manufacturer describes a device as water-resistant or splash-resistant, Reilu PhoneFix

does not guarantee that the same level of water or dust resistance will remain after repair.

Opening a device, replacing a display, back glass, frame or other component may affect original

seals and construction.

Customers should avoid exposing a repaired device to water.

32. Customer Responsibilities Before Repair

Customers should, where possible:

* Back up their data

* Remove the SIM card if it is not required

* Remove unnecessary accessories

* Inform Reilu PhoneFix of known faults

* Inform us of previous repairs

* Inform us of liquid damage

* Inform us of relevant device locks or security features

Customers should inform Reilu PhoneFix if the device contains particularly valuable or sensitive

information.⸻

Reilu PhoneFix will notify the customer when the repair is ready for collection where reasonably

possible.

The device may be released when:

* The agreed work has been completed

* Any applicable payment has been made

reasonably possible.

reminders using the customer’s provided contact information.

Any storage or other applicable charges will be communicated to the customer in advance and

will only be applied within the limits permitted by applicable law.

37. Distance Selling and the 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

Where a service agreement is concluded remotely, for example through an online booking or other

electronic service, the consumer may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal is subject to applicable consumer-protection legislation and

circumstances-specific exceptions.

If the customer expressly requests that the service begin before the 14-day withdrawal period has

expired, the customer may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already

performed if the customer later exercises the right of withdrawal.

If the service is fully completed during the withdrawal period at the customer’s express request,

and the customer has acknowledged the consequences regarding the loss of the withdrawal right,

the right of withdrawal may no longer apply after full completion of the service.

Reilu PhoneFix will comply with mandatory consumer-protection legislation.

If separate cancellation terms apply to a booking, these will be presented to the customer before

the booking is confirmed.

Where a lawful payment obligation has already arisen for services performed before cancellation,

this may be charged in accordance with applicable law.
